Description

Try this gut healthy and delicious grass-fed bone broth queso recipe for a high protein cheesy appetizer!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tbsp grass-fed butter, ghee, or oil
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced. tip: let sit for 10 minutes before heating)
  • 2 tbsp tapioca starch
  • 1 cup grass-fed bone broth
  • 1 1/2 cup cheese of choice (I used a pasture-raised mexican cheese mix)
  • optional spices, cilantro, mild chiles, or jalapeños
Instructions
  1. In a pot over medium heat, add the oil
  2. Then add the onion and sauté for 3 minutes
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 2 minutes
  4. Whisk together the bone broth and tapioca starch then add to pot
  5. Increase heat to high and let boil, then reduce to simmer for 5 minutes
  6. Add in the cheese and melt until combined
